Materials

Bag Body: Natural Woven Seagrass

Seagrass is a plant-based fibre harvested, dried, and woven into a structured material with a firm hand feel and high tensile durability for everyday carry. Compared with softer woven fibres, seagrass typically offers greater rigidity and shape retention, making it well suited to open-weave bag constructions that need strength, stability, and resistance to regular handling. Its natural surface variation and coarse texture are part of the character of the fibre.

We use natural fibres that fit within natural carbon cycles. We only use synthetic fibres where a natural alternative is unavailable so that it won't cost the earth later. We don't mix fibres so that we can separate components for reuse or recycling.
