The Chinese character “福” (Fu)” holds profound significance in Chinese culture throughout the world. “FU”conveys happiness, blessings and good fortune, making it a cherished symbol with enduring relevance. The pictorial “FU” symbol continues to be a prominent motif in contemporary art and design, specially during the Lunar New Year.

Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of the 2025 Year of the Snake “Fu” – Prosperity 1/2oz Silver Coloured Coin in Card out of a total mintage of 200,000.
