Meet Azure Belle

Azure Belle is an Australian owned and designed brand, made in Melbourne by a mum of three. It has been making period swimwear since 2022, and everything is designed with comfort and confidence in mind.

How does it work?

The gusset has three absorbent layers. It's lab tested to hold up to 6ml, about the same as one standard tampon. It's designed for light to moderate days, so it's great as a backup or on its own. Just wear it, swim, then wash it and wear it again.

Why period swimwear is worth it

The numbers tell the story. A recent Australian survey of 464 girls aged 10 to 16, led by a Federation University researcher with Swimming Victoria and Little Athletics Victoria, found that 62.8% had missed training because of their period, and 33.3% had missed competitions. Nearly one in five were thinking about dropping out of sport altogether.
