We wish we didn't need a sequel. But here we are.

Back in April we warned you about a fake website trading as "Olivia & Grace Handcrafted". It's still online. And it has quietly dropped the "Handcrafted".

What it calls itself now

The site at oliviagracejewelry.store now calls itself plain "Olivia & Grace", with the tagline "Handmade Jewelry". It has even started putting a ™ next to our name.

Let's be crystal clear. That is not us. We don't sell jewellery through a .store website. We have never traded from Hong Kong. We have no connection to this site whatsoever.

How to spot the fake

The web address ends in .store. Ours is oliviaandgrace.com.au. Always.

Every item is "on sale" with huge fake discounts, like $249.99 slashed to $39.99. It only sells rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Its footer lists a Hong Kong company, HK Brothers Corp Limited, as the operator.

What we're still doing

OLIVIA & GRACE is now a registered Australian trade mark (No. 2616364). That name belongs to our family business, and we're using that protection.

Since our first post we have reported the site to Google Safe Browsing, Scamwatch, the ACCC, the Australian Cyber Security Centre and the domain registrar. We haven't stopped there.

The fake site runs on Shopify, the same platform behind our own online store. We have lodged formal trade mark and fraud complaints with Shopify and asked them to shut it down. We're also reporting it to the registry that runs every .store web address, to WA ScamNet, and to any social media platform we catch advertising it.

We're not letting this one go.

Been caught out?

Act fast. Call your bank or card provider and ask for a chargeback. Paid with PayPal? Open a dispute in the Resolution Centre. Time limits apply, so don't wait.

Then report the store straight to Shopify at shopify.com/legal/tools/report-an-issue and choose "Issue with an order". Every report adds pressure.
